“Race Matters”

As the pandemic continues, the State of Black Arizona is committed to furthering its mission by delivering relevant and trusted data on the issues and concerns that affect Black/African Americans in Arizona via the African American Leadership Institute (AALI).  AALI is an individual development experience for African American leaders. It is designed to increase African American participation in key civic, political and workforce related leadership roles. AALI serves as the principal educational and networking resource; harnessing expertise and advocacy on African American leadership issues affecting and impacting our communities.  Dr. Matthew C. Whitaker will lead the Race Matters session for this five-week AALI institute.  For more information, please contact, Teniqua Broughton, Executive Director of the State of Black Arizona and its AALI, HERE.
