Travis W. Cronin, MSW, LCSW

Senior Advisor and Social Catalyst

Travis obtained his master’s degree in social work (MSW) in 2006 from Eastern Washington University. He has spent a majority of his post MSW career working in public child welfare. In 2011, he obtained licensure as a clinical social worker (LCSW). After securing his LCSW, Travis provided psychotherapy at a military hospital as a contractor. In addition to being a part of the DSC team, he works as the project coordinator of the MSW Child Welfare Education Project at ASU, where he is also completing a Ph.D. social work. Travis has taught several courses within the ASU school of social work, and has co-authored peer-reviewed research, which focuses on culturally responsive social work practice with particular attention to engaging Black youth, their families, and communities.
