Lasana is Dean of Student Equity and Support Programs at Skyline College in San Bruno, California.  He has more than ten years of higher education experience, particularly developing programs and advising student organizations that contribute to the success of underrepresented and underserved populations.  His previous positions include Director of Student Activities and Campus Life at Merritt College in Oakland, California, Director of College Student Educational Services and Multicultural Affairs at Estrella Mountain Community College in Avondale, Arizona, and Project Manager for Arizona State University’s (ASU) Center for the Study of Race and Democracy.  Lasana co-founded the nationally recognized African-American Men of ASU (AAMASU) High School to College program and is a highly sought-after educator, entrepreneur, speaker, facilitator, and strategist, committed to diversity, equity, and Inclusion.  He is the Chief Visionary Officer for Ogun Media Partners, whose flagship product is MyClickUrban.com (MCU), an event promotion website and mobile application (iOS and Android) connecting people to events in 13 cities across the United States.  Lasana is also an engaging writer, having contributed book chapters to the likes of The Black Male Handbook: A Blueprint for Life.
